Artificial insemination is for many patients the first assisted reproduction treatment when they go to a fertility clinic. It is the simplest, where the woman's ovulation is synchronized with the entry of sperm into the uterus.
In vitro fertilization is the most complex reproduction treatment, where the highest probability of pregnancy is achieved (80-90% in 3 attempts). For the patient, thanks to the new medication developed, the treatment is simple and with infrequent side effects.
Egg donation is the delivery of eggs from one woman (donor) to another (recipient) anonymously so that the latter can achieve a pregnancy. It is an act of generosity, voluntary and altruistic that allows us to help women who cannot be mothers for many reasons (age, genetic diseases, cancer...).
Preimplantation genetic diagnosis
Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) is the earliest diagnostic technique that allows the detection of genetic and chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo prior to its transfer to the mother's uterus.
