Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from Autónoma University of Madrid in 1996.
She received a doctorate in Gynecology and Obstetrics (Cum Laude) from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2002. Doctoral thesis: “Value of angiogenesis as a prognostic factor in ovarian cancer. Multivariate analysis ”, for which she obtained the San Nicolás Foundation Doctorate Award for the best thesis.
Coordinator of the Assisted Reproduction Unit of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos of Madrid (Instituto de Salud de la Mujer Professor Botella Llusiá) 2014-2019, where she currently works and is a teaching collaborator of MIR (resident intern doctors) of Gynecology and Obstetrics and other specialties.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Reproduction from the Rey Juan Carlos I University (2008). She is a collaborating teacher in the Master’s Degree in Human Reproduction organized by the Spanish Reproduction Society and the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid.
She has been a speaker at multiple conferences, has published articles on different topics of Assisted Reproduction and has been a member of the tribunal in several doctoral theses of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is also a member of the Fertility Preservation Group of the SEF (Spanish Fertility Society)
